Fighting for the future that we deserve.

At just twelve years old, I heard, saw, and experienced things—”ew, that Asian kid must have corona” to “Kung Flu”—that were hurtful to vulnerable members of our community and fundamentally antithetical to the values that define our nation: equality and justice for all. A precipitous increase in anti-Asian hate crimes, general public disdain toward Asian-Americans and ignorant attitudes propelled me to take action.

That’s how edONE was formed. I’m Brandon Cheng, and I’m the Executive Director of the edONE Foundation. I started this organization because I realized that educating people is the best way to defeat ignorance and hatred. The rich legacy of Asian-Americans in this nation—on whose shoulders I have paved my own path—is something that all Americans should know and all schoolchildren should learn.

Americans of every race, color, and creed deserve to live in a society where they are heard, seen, and appreciated. It is past time for us Asian-Americans to fight for the representation that we deserve and the society that we need.
